Venetian Dance of Death Wooden Decoration 
 
This design is inspired by the Dance of Death aka Danse Macabre, which depicts Death calling forth people from every walk of life to join a final dance to the grave. Created as a memento mori, it serves as a stark reminder of life’s fragility and the futility of earthly power and glory.
 
Originally hand-painted in watercolours, the design has been UV-printed onto wood and laser-cut, then strung with shimmering gold thread to make a unique decoration. Each decoration is lightweight, versatile, and designed to bring character wherever it’s placed, whether on the christmas tree or a year round decoration.
 
They measure 8cm in length and are printed on one side.
