I made this mini comic responding to the Picturehooks brief Nice to Meet You. The aim was to create two swipe through scenes where two or more characters meet for the first time.

My story follows a Eurasian Penduline Tit busily building it's nest. These clever little birds weave hanging nests high up in the trees using soft fibres… but in this case, the fibres it’s chosen have come from a rather unexpected source — a leopard!
