A Wrinkle in Time Bookcover

In A Wrinkle in Time, Meg, Charles Wallace, and Calvin journey through time and space guided by three celestial guardians. They travel to strange and surreal planets, encountering many curious and unsettling characters along the way. At the heart of the narrative is their quest to rescue Meg’s father.

To move through space, the characters use a method called tesseracting, an experience described as painful and disorienting. It is this sensation, alongside the hope of saving their father, that I chose to emphasise in my design. A hand reaches downward and dissolves into ribbon-like forms, suggesting the act of tesseracting through multiple dimensions of space and time. Just out of reach of the hand their father drifts below.

On the back of the cover three tentacles hide in the bottom left hand corner, an easter egg of what's in store for readers.
