Upfest 2026

grab your tabbard and your mead because I'm bringing a medieval mural to Upfest! This design was inspired by the weird and wonderful marginalia found in medieval manuscripts, a mighty knight battling a fearsome snail. Snails were believed to have deceptive strength as they carried their homes on their backs, to do battle with one needed exceptional course. 

I will be bringing my knight vs snail to the tobacco factory on May 30th. I'll be painting a big 1.2x1.2m board alongside lots of other artists! Come down and see how it goes! xx
