I’m thrilled to be part of the Cheltenham Illustration Awards 2026!
This year’s theme is Tales of the Uncanny, and my piece, The Leviathan, will be exhibited alongside an incredible selection of eerie and otherworldly artworks. The awards are run by Pittville Press at the University of Gloucestershire.
About Tales of the Uncanny
This year, illustrators were invited to step into the strange, the surreal, and the shadowed. Tales of the Uncanny calls for visual interpretations of the eerie and extraordinary, where the familiar becomes unsettling and the ordinary conceals something otherworldly.
The brief sought original illustrations exploring uncanny narratives: ghost stories, twisted folklore, dream logic, psychological unease, and the blurred boundaries between reality and imagination.
